Extra large and heavy Alaskan carved ivory earrings! Each earring consists of a large cut and polished piece of ivory with matching hand carved design. The artist finishes by attaching a sterling silver ear stud on the back. Each earring measures 1 3/4" by 7/8" across and weighs approximately 7.4 grams each (14.8 grams for the set). Both come with higher quality ear nuts not shown in picture and are unsigned. Not sure whether the ivory is prehistoric Mastodon or walrus?
