Mens rare vintage collector's rosebud beaded watchband. The wide decorative beaded watchband displays a large rosebud with a smaller rosebud rising up in the background along with leaves on each end. Set onto a baby blue beaded background and bordered with deep maroon red and black beads. All attached to a thick leather backing with leather watch pin holders and strap. The strap has a brass pin buckle. Some of the small beads used have a flat side on them which send out a "sparkle" effect from the light. Obviously, the pictures don't show the absolute beauty of the watchband. The artist has used three (3) different shades of red, yellow, orange, tan, green, dark brown, and pink beads in creating this beautiful piece of art. The watchband has an old Timex Water Resistant Automatic gold tone watch with day/date display. It seems to work fine as long as it is worn. Movement is how the watch winds itself for those that aren't familiar.

The beaded area measures approximately 2 1/2" by 6 1/4" long with the leather straps extending another 3 1/4". It would fit a 7 1/4" to 8 1/2" wrist, but personally I wouldn't wear it daily due to age and the fragile nature of the strap. This is a collector's item and should be displayed only. I would estimate it age as pre-1950's. The complete watchband with watch weighs 104.4 grams (3.68 ounces) and is unsigned. All the beadwork is tight with no breaks or missing beads.
