Beautiful vintage 30's-40's Navajo petrified wood decoratively stamped bracelet! The silversmith has used a beautifully oval cut and polished piece of petrified wood setting it into a smooth silver bezel and adds a row of nine (9) small repeating scrolls down both sides. The artist has hand cut and stretched the double split cuff (as signs inside show stressed silver) and mounts the stone in center. The artist continues by adding unique stampwork on both sides along with zig-zag snake symbol stampwork on each of the splits leading to the stone on both sides.

The vintage bracelet measures 1" wide narrowing to 1/2" wide at both ends. The inner circumference is 5 3/8" with a 1 1/8" opening. It fits a 6 3/8" wrist as is and can be adjusted to fit between a 6 1/4" to 6 1/2" wrist. It weighs 29.4 grams and appears to be coin silver. Coin silver was used during early years due to 90% silver coins were easily available. The silversmith would melt the coins and made their own sheet silver, carinated wire, and sometimes round wire. I state 30's-40's era, but it could easily be older? Collector's item.  $339.95
