Beautifully made Zuni lapis and Sunface inlay bracelet. The lapidarist/silversmith has used thirty six (36) precise cut pieces of deep blue lapis with silvery pyrite specks throughout the face of the bracelet and setting a raised turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and jet Sunface in the center. The artist has made a unique styled bracelet using four (4) pieces of heavy gauge square wire soldering all four together on each end and up the sides. The artist then expands the two (2) outer wires form the diamond shape of the bracelet face and expanding the two (2) center ran wires further in towards the center running them parallel with the outer wires. They attach a sheet silver base to the under side which creates the tracks to inlay the lapis. Each piece of lapis is separated from the next with silver wire channels. The artist has created a circular area in center with channel wire that hold the Sunface in place and it's slightly raised above the lapis.

The unique bracelet measures 1  11/16" wide in center tapering down to 1/4" along the sides to the ends. It has an inner circumference of 5 3/8" plus the 1 1/8" opening. The bracelet will fit a 6 3/8" to 6 1/2" wrist as is and cannot be adjusted without possible damage to the stones. It weighs 31.8 grams (1.12 oz or 1.02 ozt) and is hand signed D/C Seciwa - Zuni by Zuni husband and wife Delbert and Carol Seciwa. Guaranteed sterling silver.
