NEW! Navajo mother of pearl and elk ivory decorated bracelet. The silversmith has created a unique setting highlighting on the large elk ivory tooth set into a sawtooth holder. The back molars of an elk are made of ivory and highly prized. Used in everything from jewelry to clothing highlights such as buttons. The artist continues decorating by mounting an oval cut mother of pearl shell set into a smooth silver bezel above the elk ivory. He continues by adding silver drops, crescent moon and scroll wires, along with two (2) stamped plant symbols chevrons all mounted to a scorched blackened silver base. The artist mounts the setting to a three (3) wire cuff which has been soldered together up both sides and separates only to accommodate the setting.

The bracelet measures 2” wide at the setting and tapers down to 5/16” wide at both ends. It holds an inner circumference of 5 5/8” plus a 1 3/8” opening. It fits a 7” wrist as is and can easily be adjusted in or out between a 6 3/4” to 7 1/8” wrist without damage.
