Beautiful extra large vintage Navajo eight (8) piece decorative repousse' stamped concho belt with leather backs and heavy leather belt! The belt displays seven (7) large oval conchos and an extra large repousse' stamped Ketoh style rectangular buckle. The seven (7) large oval conchos display repousse' stamped diamond eye sunbursts in center and encircled with decorative stamping. The artist has added sunrise stamping to the tip of each repousse' sun beam and includes two (2) types of sunrise/sunburst stamping around the outer scallop cut edge of the concho. Each concho has a very thick leather backing with a single copper belt slide attached to the back. The rectangular Ketoh buckle displays a smaller version of the repousse' diamond eye sunburst and has been encircled with a balance combination of eight (8) repousse' diamonds and four (2) large repousse' cyclones. He finishes decorating the buckle by adding the two (2) types of sunrise/sunburst stamping like that used on the conchos. All mounted to a thick 1 1/4" wide brown leather belt. The conchos measure 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" across with the buckle measuring 3" by 3 1/2" across. The full belt weighs a healthy 502.6 grams (17.73 ounces or 16.16 troy ounces). The buckle has an attached silver plate and is stamped Anderson Parkett - STERLING by the Navajo silversmith and is guaranteed Sterling Silver. The leather belt measures 1 1/2" wide by 36" long with set buckle holes throughout. It will fit a 32" to 34" waist or smaller by removing conchos as needed. The silver was completely black or oxidized and we cleaned. It does show wear with scratches here and there. We have adjusted the price accordingly.
