Heavy vintage 70-80’s Navajo turquoise sandcast feather decorated belt buckle. Made by noted Navajo silver and gold smith Arthur J. Williams, he’s created a winged sunburst style sandcast. After the molten silver has hardened he’s added a polished turquoise nugget set into a smooth silver bezel along with a silver feather and wire scrolls decoration in the center on an oxidized base background. After filing down any sharp edges and applying a good polishing to the silver he’s attached a swivel type belt clasp and solid set pin on the back.

The heavy belt buckle measures 2 1/4” tall by 3 1/4” across and weighs 83.5 grams (2.95 oz or 2.69 ozt). The belt buckle will accommodate up to a 1 1/4” wide belt and has been hallmarked AJW - Arrow by Navajo silver/goldsmith Arthur J. Williams.
