Beautiful vintage Navajo hollow silver overlay Kokopelli bolo tie by Tommy Singer. The silversmith has created a very unique hollow figurine of the Kokopelli deity playing his flute. The artist has applied a very detailed figure using many cut and polished pieces of shiny silver overlaid onto a textured and oxidized silver base and also hollow behind the textured part of the deity at same time. He has used a end tip cone as the flute and incorporated it into the finished piece. This is by far the most detailed Kokopelli I’ve seen!

The deity measures 3 3/8” tall by 1 3/4” across and is 7/32” thick. It’s attached to a 4-ply black braided leather cord with a thumb locking bolo clasp. The cord measures 44” long which includes the 1 3/4” sterling bead tipped end tips. The complete bolo weighs 48.8 grams (1.71 oz or 1.56 ozt) and is hallmarked T with a Crescent Moon - Sterling which is an older early hallmark of Navajo mastercraftsman Tommy Singer (b. 1940-2014). His son Richard has picked up where Tommy left off incorporating the same style of textured and detailed overlay to this day! Very fine collector’s bolo with little to no signs of previous wear! $489.95
