Small vintage 50’s to early 70’s Zuni turquoise flush inlaid sterling silver Knifewing deity bolo tie. The silversmith has cut out a resemblance of the Zuni warrior God Knifewing and overlaid a second Knifewing deity with areas cut out. The artist comes back and fills the cut outs with flush inlaid turquoise in the wings, tail feathers, body, and eyes of the deity. It has a BENNETT PAT.PEND. C-31 locking bolo clasp attached to the back and comes with a 4-ply braided black leather cord along with handmade sterling bead tipped end tips.

The Knifewing deity measures 1 3/8” by 15/16” across with the braided cord measuring 39 1/2” which includes the 1 1/4” long handmade end tips. The complete bolo weighs 25.8 grams and is unsigned sterling silver. We have left the patina on the Knifewing and end tips. Customer can clean if desired.
