Bold large Navajo turquoise, coral, and bear claw silver decorated bolo tie. Made by Elaine Sam (b.1955-2020). She’s used a large bear claw set in the center with a total of six (6) coiled scrolls that run down the inside and outside edge of the claw along with numerous graduating silver beads. She attached three (3) Sleeping Beauty Turquoise nuggets and two (2) small pieces of coral each set into sawtooth bezels. Two (2) large silver leaves along with twisted wire and heavy decorative stamped wire around the outer rim. Filling any voids with silver beads. She finishes the setting with a thumb locking bolo clasp on back. We added a new 4-ply braided leather cord and sterling silver seamed bead end tips.

The large bolo setting measures 3” by 2 1/2” across with the 4-ply cord measuring 46” long which includes the 2 1/4” long 8mm seamed bead end tips. The complete bolo tie weighs 83.2 grams (2.93 oz or 2.67 ozt) and is signed NAVAJO - HANDMADE - ES by Elaine Sam (b.1955-2020).
