Beautiful ladies vintage 50’s-70’s Zuni multi stone double Sunface deity watchband. The artist has created two (2) circular Sunface deities per watch tip using turquoise, coral, jet, and mother of pearl all stone to stone set. The arching dome shaped deities are set into a very fine cut saw tooth bezel and wrapped with twisted wire. The artist continues to decorate the top Sunface by mounting six (6) small pettitpoint cut turquoise stones above the Sunface as a headdress. Each pettitpoint stone is also set into sawtooth bezels with five (5) silver raindrops set at top between each pettitpoint stone. The artist creates two (2) wire hoop earrings that connect to raindrops. The artist finishes decorating each watch tip using the horseshoe wire to connect the two (2) deities along with a strip of sheet silver as a chain link plus to connect the scissor type stretchband and a coiled wire barrel for the watch shank.

Each double Sunface watch tip measures 1 5/8" by 13/16" across earring to earring. Each Sunface measures 5/8” by 7/16” for the lower and 13/16” by 13/16” across for the upper Sunface with headdress. The watch pin tubes measure 9mm (5/16") and could be filed down shorter if needed. The watchband comes with the original non-adjustable scissor type stretchband which measures 2 1/2” long. This style of Sunface deities was first designed by Zuni artist Roger Cellicion, but we have a single Sunface watchband in the listings that’s stamped B.H.L. - Zuni which this watchband is made exactly the same.
