Beautiful ladies vintage 70's Navajo turquoise and coral inlay waterbirds with turquoise nuggets watchcuff. The waterbird design was popularized in the 1970's rush for Native American jewelry and have been highly sought after in recent years. The artist has created a flying waterbird on both sides and overlaid onto the cuff. He/she filled highlights in the wings and tail feathers with turquoise and coral chips along with applying decorative stampwork throughout. The artist has gone one step further adding a raised light blue turquoise nugget with black matrix set in a saw tooth bezel wrapped with twisted wire to both sides of the cuff. They finish by attaching both watch holder strips and feathered prayer fan watch guards. The watchcuff is designed to hold the small oval watches we carry. The pictures show a few of the coral chips with a white substance. We wiped with our fingers and the substance disappeared.

The watchcuff measures 5/8" wide at the watch setting, 7/8" wide at widest, and tapering down to 3/4" wide at the ends. It has an inner circumference of 5 3/4" and a 1" opening. It fits a 6 5/8" to 6 3/4" wrist as is and we don't recommend adjusting due to possible damage of pressure causing the inlay to pop out. It weighs a healthy 59.4 grams (2.09 ounces or 1.91 troy ounces) and is hallmarked with a large "H" by the artist. Very nice and somewhat collectable watchcuff!  $199.95
