Beautiful Zuni multi stone inlay horse pin/pendant with chain. The artist has used six (6) pieces of a brown and white shell for most of the horse with exception of using mother of pearl for the head and tail. The head and tail also have etched detail with a round piece of black jet inlaid for the horse’s eye. The horse is walking across a mix of inlay teardrops and silver drops. The artist uses white mother of pearl, yellow pearl, pink pearl and blue turquoise to fill the teardrops. The artist finishes by attaching both a safety locking pin and a wire bale on the back side. The pin/pendant comes with a dainty sterling silver chain.

The horse measures 7/8” tall by 1 1/8” across and weighs 3.9 grams. Including the chain weighs 4.7 grams. The dainty sterling silver link chain measures 18” long and is 1mm diameter. It has a tag stamped CW - ITALY - 925 with a spring loaded clasp. The artist has etched his hallmark E.A.L. - ZUNI - 94. I’m certain the artist is Edward Leekity and not sure what the 94 references.
