NEW! Navajo turquoise and lapis inlay silver decorated buffalo head pendant with box chain. The artist has created a multiple section pendant that concentrates on a silver buffalo head. The pendant starts with a sunburst/full sun stamped rectangular setting which has two (2) extended wire wrapped links coming off the bottom that connect to a detailed sterling buffalo head. The buffalo bust is textured to show the fur of the buffalo along with nostrils and horn in smooth silver. The artist has created a six (6) sided channel inlay using four (4) pieces of blue turquoise, three (3) strips of deep blue lapis, and two (2) silver channels which are used to encase one strip of lapis. Mounted into a raise inlay centered on the buffaloes head. The artist finishes the pendant by hanging three (3) long pointed silver spearheads from the head. One each off of both horns and a slightly longer one from the buffaloes snoot. The artist also uses the wire wrapped links for the spearheads.. At very top the artist attaches a silver bale and includes a sterling box chain.

The multiple section pendant measures 4 1/4” tall by 7/8” across the buffalo horns which includes the bale. The chain is 18” long and is a 1mm sterling box chain. The complete pendant and chain weighs 11.4 grams with the pendant hallmarked MASHA - STERLING and the chain tagged ITALY - 925. Very nice unique pendant with sterling chain! $137.95
