NEW! Beautiful colorful Navajo multi color decorated necklace and earrings set by Lolita Platero. Starting with the necklace, she’s created a three (3) sections connected to each other using silver oblong chain links. The two (2) outer sections consist of a blue Kingman oblong oval cut turquoise stone in center. She adds a diamond shaped orange spiny oyster at top with a spiny oyster teardrop at bottom. From the diamond spiny oyster going clockwise is either a round lapis or coral (based on which section is the left or right), a silver Hogan button on both sides of the Kingman turquoise and under the Hogans are gaspeite ovals. Each stone is separated by a silver drop from the next. The center section consists of a large spiny oyster heart in center with a Kingman square cut turquoise stone at top and lapis teardrop at bottom. To the left and right is an oval cut piece of branch coral. The artist uses round gaspeite stones between the Kingman and coral stones and again round gaspeite stones between the coral and lapis teardrop. All of the stones are set into sawtooth bezels and also including silver drops between the stones. She finishes the necklace by attaching heavy sterling “Dot-Dash-Dot” style chains with a lobster clasp.
The earrings both consist of a round coral with diamond spiny oyster attached to the ear stud along with a free hanging section of oval Kingman turquoise, heart shaped spiny oyster, two (2) round lapis stones, and finally a small oval gaspeite stone. As like the necklace there’s a silver drops separating each stone along with a stack of three (3) drops under the gaspeite stone. What a mix of stones and shapes!
