Beautiful extra large vintage Navajo eight (8) piece first phase decorative stamped with turquoise concho belt! The belt has seven (7) first phase oval conchos with scallop cut edging along with a custom oval buckle with ten (10) large prayer feathers shooting off each side. Each first phase concho has a diamond eye cut out of the center which is encircled with repeating sunrise and I believe corn symbols although they look more like bees or flies. The silversmith continues decorating by adding a double circle stamp with repeating sunrise stampwork inside the rings. They finish the concho decoration by adding repeating sunrise above a full moon and crop/corn symbols around the outer scallop cut rim. The buckle, which is somewhat similar to the conchos as far as stampwork, has a square cut out in center for the belt and pin which is flanked on all four (4) sides with same symbols as the conchos along with same stampwork across bottom and top. The artist adds the ten (10) point prayer feather fans to each side of the buckle. The artist adds a total of six (6) beautiful cut and polished turquoise stones with black and dark brown spiderweb matrix running through them. The stones are all set in individual smooth silver bezels and mounted three (3) stone to each side of the buckle. The conchos and buckle are mounted to a soft yet sturdy patent black leather belt. Each concho has two (2) wide copper belt slides on the back as does the buckle. The conchos measure 3" by 3 5/8" across with the buckle measuring 3 1/8" by 4 1/2" across. The full belt weighs a healthy 541.9 grams (19.12 ounces or 17.42 troy ounces). The buckle and conchos are unsigned Sterling Silver. The belt has been hand cut and measures 5/8" to 3/4" wide by 35 1/2" long with set buckle holes starting at 31" up to 35". Beautiful high quality vintage Navajo made first phase concho belt!  $2449.95
