Nice 70's vintage Navajo coral squashblossom necklace! Made with one hundred forty (140) 7 mm seamed silver beads, ten (10) blossoms, and a seven piece naja. Each branch coral setting consists of the coral set in a smooth bezel wrapped with twisted rope with the outer rim wrapped with smooth half round wire. The smooth wire has multiple chiseled cuts (7) at each of the four directions (top, bottom, left, right or north, south, east, west) all mounted to a blacked silver base.

The coral pieces range from 1/2" to 5/8" long with the full blossom measuring approximately 1 3/4" long by 1" wide. The naja measures 3 3/8" across by 2 3/4" tall. Notice the second picture showing the center coral being secured with two silver strips along with two soldered spots. The complete necklace measures 25" long end to end with a hanging length of 14 1/2". It weighs 187 grams (6.59 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. The trefold flutes are slightly bent, but can easily be adjusted back in place. Very nice necklace for the price!  $899.95
